Course Reflection
This class helped me maintain my Japanese language skills required for MLO 1. Through this class we really focused on our communicative Japanese language skills. We focused on various Japanese cultural aspects such as Japanese food, art forms, and history. For each cultural aspects that was covered in class, we studied relevant kanji, read passages about the topics, created mini presentations and regular presentations, discussed the topics at hand, and preformed mini skits. I felt that this class helped me gain more confidence in presentational skills. For example, my final presentation, linked below, about Buddhism in Japan, shows how my language skills have improved since I first started here at CSU Monterey Bay.
